The Tánaiste (Deputy Prime Minister) and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr. Eamon Gilmore T.D. visited Japan on 12th and 13th of October. During the trip, the Tánaiste had meetings with the Chief Cabinet Secretary Osamu Fujimura, the President of the Japanese Red Cross, Mr. Tadateru Konoe and the Federation of Economic Organizations (Keidanren) as well as addressed executives of IT industries in Japan.
