Bilateral Relations

The Tanaiste (Deputy Prime Minister) and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr. Eamon Gilmore T.D. visited Japan on 12 and 13 October. During the trip, the Tanaiste had meetings with the Chief Cabinet Secretary Mr. Osamu Fujimura, the President of the Japanese Red Cross, Mr. Tadateru Konoe, and the Federation of Economic Organizations (Keidanren) as well as addressing executives of IT industries in Japan.
