Ambassador Atsumi visits Waterford
On 30 September, Ambassador Atsumi went to Co. Waterford, and visited Mount Congreve Gardens and the Waterford Institute of Technology.
At Mount Congreve, Ambassador Atsumi enjoyed the opportunity to talk with County Mayor Cllr. Damien Geoghegan and other guests while touring the gardens which feature many Japanese flowers and plants.
At the Waterford Institute of Technology, the Ambassador learned about the research being conducted by the Telecommunications Software & Systems Group (TSSG). TSSG is participating in a collaborative research project with NTT DATA Corporation on renewable energy management.
