14 November – Japan Information Stand held by Embassy
On 14 November, the Embassy held a Japan Information Stand at the anime and cosplay event “Eirtakon”. The many visitors to the stand were all very interested in the information provided on travelling to Japan etc.

5 November – Visit to Embassy by students from St Joseph’s Secondary School, Rush and Kunohe, Iwate Prefecture
On 5 November, a group of 5 junior high school students from Kunohe, Iwate Prefecture, on a homestay in Ireland as part of an international exchange programme, visited the Embassy with students from their partner school, and had the opportunity to talk with Ambassador Atsumi about Japan-Ireland relations and various other topics.

4 November – Ambassador Atsumi attends official opening of international joint project
On 4 November, a pilot facility for new energy storage technology was opened in Co. Offaly, as part of an international project involving Hitachi Chemical and Yokogawa Electric Corporation. In his congratulatory remarks, Ambassador Atsumi referred to the potential for the increased use of wind power and other renewable energies offered by this new storage system.
