10 June - Irish National Kendo Championships and Ambassador’s Cup

Mr. Sou Watanabe, First Secretary, Culture and Information, attended the Irish National Kendo Championships and Ambassador's Cup which was held in Galway.
20 June - Visit by Ms. Masako Wakamiya

Ms. Masako Wakamiya, the world's oldest developer of an application for the iPhone visited Ambassador Miyoshi at the Embassy.
21 June - Honorary Degree (NUI) Conferred on Mr. Jean-Claude Juncker

President of the European Commission (EU), Mr Jean-Claude Juncker, was conferred with an honorary degree from the National University of Ireland (NUI) and Ambassador Miyoshi attended the ceremony. This was his first visit to Ireland since the Brexit referendum.
24 June - 60th Anniversary of Ireland's Participation in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations

A ceremony marking the 60th anniversary of Ireland's participation in United Nations peacekeeping operations was held at Dublin Castle with President Michael D. Higgins, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, members of the Defence Forces, Garda Siochana and Diplomatic Corps in attendance.
30 June - JET Programme Pre-Departure Orientation and Farewell Reception

A pre-departure orientation and farewell reception for the 31st batch of Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme participant from Ireland (46 in total) was held at the Ambassador's residence.
