The Embassy of Japan is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual for the position of Facility Manager for the Ambassador’s Residence. Please see below for details:
1. Terms of Employment
- Fixed Working hours are 9:00 am –5:45 pm (lunch break: 1 hour), with occasional overtime work before/after working hours and weekends.
- Salary range: Approximately 3,300 to 3,800 euro per month (which includes the employer PRSI contribution). The actual amount will be decided after reviewing (qualifications, experience, etc.) in accordance with the Embassy’s regulations.
Please note the Embassy does not use the PAYE system, and therefore, the employee will be responsible for paying PRSI and income tax from his/her salary.
- Hiring Date: On or after 1st August 2025
-Place of work: Ambassador’s residence(Dublin 18)and other places as instructed by the Embassy.
2. Responsibilities
- Continued Operation of the site Facilities encompassing all elements of Facility Management
Including but not limited to Buildings, Plant Equipment, Hard services& Soft services.
- Continued management of routine preventative maintenance
- Operate a BMS system and related functions.
- Carry out minor repair work
- Administrative duties such as preparing documents to issue requests for price comparisons of the
works.
3. Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience as an FM managerial role.
- Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills such as IT skills, especially Excel
for inventory management.
- Fluency in English
- Ownership of a private car for commuting.
