Order of the Sacred Treasure, Silver Rays Awarded to Ms Jennifer O’Connor, Former Local Staff Member of the Embassy of Japan in Ireland

A ceremony was held at the Ambassador’s residence for the conferment of the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Silver Rays upon former local staff member Ms Jennifer O’Connor, who was awarded this honour in the spring of 2025 in recognition of her contribution to the activities of the Japanese overseas establishment through her 22 years of service to the Embassy.
The ceremony was attended by Ms O’Connor’s family, friends, and former colleagues at the Embassy of Japan in Ireland. Chargé d’Affaires Mr Norimasa Yoshida presented the decoration and certificate to Ms O’Connor, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the honour.
All the Embassy staff extend their sincere thanks to Ms Jennifer O’Connor for her contribution to the Embassy’s activities over many years.
