On 6 February, Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu revisited The Douglas Hyde Gallery of Contemporary Art at Trinity College Dublin, and was honoured to meet Mr Atsushi Kaga, a Japanese artist residing in Ireland, Dr Georgina Jackson, Director of The Douglas Hyde Gallery and her staff.
Mr Kaga studied Fine Art at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. He lives and works between Dublin and Kyoto. Mr Kaga's latest exhibition at The Douglas Hyde will remain open until 22 February.
The Embassy of Japan is grateful for Mr Kaga's contributions to the enhancement of mutual understanding among Ireland, Japan, and many international audiences through his excellent works that really stimulate the imagination of visitors.
