On 11 March, Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu, together with Ms IKEDA Mizuki of the Japan Foundation, who was visiting Ireland, called on Ms Aoife Conduit, Assistant Secretary General at the Department of Education and Youth. Reflecting on the history of rich exchanges between the two countries, they exchanged views on the current state of cooperation in the field of education, including Japanese language education, and prospects for further cooperation.
