Exchanges between Osaka Jogakuin Senior High School and St Mac Dara’s Community College
On 27 January, three students from Osaka Jogakuin Senior High School currently on exchange at St Mac Dara’s Community College visited Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu, along with the Principal Ms Frances Gibson and staff from student exchange agents Ryugaku+.
The students spoke with the Ambassador about their interactions with people in Ireland, their impressions of Ireland, and their plans for the rest of their stay. Ambassador MIYAGAWA spoke about diplomatic relations between Japan and Ireland, which are now approaching their 70th anniversary, and about the history of the Embassy of Japan in Ireland and the work of women in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
