On 3 March, Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu, Ambassador of Japan to Ireland, paid a courtesy call on Mr Ken Spratt, Secretary General of the Department of Transport, to mark his arrival at his new post. During the meeting, he exchanged views with Mr Spratt — who accompanied Minister of State at the Department of Transport Seán Canney on his visit to Japan around the time of St Patrick’s Day in mid-March — on the current state of, and future prospects for, cooperation and exchange in the transport sector.
The Embassy of Japan in Ireland intends, in light of this exchange of views, to continue making efforts to further develop cooperation and exchange between the two countries in the transport sector.
