On 16 March, Mr Seán Canney TD, Minister of State at the Department of Transport, who was visiting Japan, held a meeting with Mr SASAKI Hajime, State Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Both Ministers exchanged views on the current state of cooperation in the transport sector between the two countries and on future perspectives. Japanese Ambassador to Ireland MIYAGAWA Manabu, who was on a business trip to Tokyo, was also in attendance.
