On 31 March, Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu paid a courtesy call on Dr Richard Browne, Director of the National Cyber Security Centre. Director Browne has many years of experience in Ireland’s cyber security administration and plays a vital role both domestically and internationally.
Following the Director’s words of welcome, the two sides recalled the Japan–Ireland Summit Meeting held in July 2025 and, in light of the recent international situation, exchanged views on potential cooperation between Ireland and Japan in the field of cyber security.
The Embassy of Japan in Ireland will also continue to deepen cooperation between Japan and Ireland in the field of cyber security through the National Cyber Security Centre.
