Economic Exchange Between Japan and Ireland

On 16 March, Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu visited Aerogen Japan and met with President Takanori Kuramoto.

Founded in Ireland, Aerogen strengthened the business base in Japan and opened the office in Japan 2025. The company is a global leader in acute care aerosol drug delivery. In Asia and Oceania, it operates in Japan, China, India, Australia and other countries, providing benefits to more than 30 million patients in 80 countries worldwide.

The company is expanding its business in Japan, developing and selling vibrating mesh nebulisers that are useful for inhalation therapy for patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases.

Following President Kuramoto's explanation of the company's history and business overview, there was a demonstration of the vibrating mesh nebuliser by [Name of Aerogen representative] and an exchange of views took place regarding expectations and challenges for the Japanese market.

The Embassy of Japan in Ireland expresses its gratitude for this meeting.   We will cooperate as much as possible, in collaboration with the Embassy of Ireland in Tokyo, to further deepen Japan-Ireland economic relations through the development of Aerogen's business.
