On 17 April, Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu and Mrs MIYAGAWA Noriko visited the Irish National Stud and Gardens in Tully, Kildare Town, County Kildare. 

The Ambassador, his spouse, and Mr ISHIMOTO Akihiro, First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan, were received and invited to luncheon by Mr Sean Ó Fearghaíl TD, the former Ceann Comhairle, and the members of the Irish National Stud. Both sides talked about present and future exchanges between Ireland and Japan including those through horses.
 
On 25 April, Saturday, Irish National Stud and Gardens will be the venue for "HANAMI CELEBRATION - MINI JAPAN DAY". The Embassy of Japan looks forward to associating itself with the event and many future exchanges at such a beautiful place in Kildare.
