On 15 April at Iveagh House, Irish business leaders, academic circle and the diplomatic corps gathered. The reception began with the opening remarks by Mr David Kelly, President of Dublin Chamber, followed by the speech of H.E. Mr Thomas Byrne TD, Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence on the upcoming EU Presidency of Ireland.
From the Embassy of Japan, Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu attended, greeting with Chairperson David Kelly of Dublin Chamber. Both sides agreed to deepen business collaboration between Irish and Japanese companies both in Ireland and Japan.
The Embassy of Japan will keep in touch with Dublin Chamber through which we would facilitate further economic ties between Ireland and Japan.
