On 15 May, Mr Katamura Kazushige, Deputy General Manager of the Battery Solutions Dept, Digital & Power VC Business Division, Digital & Infrastructure Solutions Business Unit of Mitsui & Co., Ltd, Mr Ishii Rintaro of the Battery Solutions Dept, Mr Tanaka Kosuke, Deputy General Manager, Project Development Dept, Mitsui & Co. Europe Ltd, and Mr Marc O’Connor, General Manager, Mitsui Ireland, visited the Embassy of Japan in Ireland.
During the visit, they kindly provided a comprehensive briefing on the recent activities and future prospects of Mitsui’s business operations in Ireland, as well as the initiatives undertaken by the Digital & Power Solution Business Unit and developments relating to Europe and Ireland.
Ambassador MIYAGAWA and Ms ONOZAKI, Researcher at the Embassy of Japan in Ireland, welcomed the delegation and expressed their appreciation for the informative briefing. The Embassy intends to continue providing all possible support so that the further development of Mitsui & Co.’s business activities in Ireland may contribute to an even deeper economic relationship between Japan and Ireland.
