On 19 May, Ambassador AIKAWA Kazutoshi of the Mission of Japan to the EU, who was visiting Ireland ahead of Ireland’s upcoming EU Presidency from 1 July, together with Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu, paid a visit to Cubic³, a consolidated subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. Following an exchange of views with the CEO and other executives, they were given a tour of the company’s facilities.

The Embassy of Japan in Ireland, in cooperation with the Mission of Japan to the EU, and in continuous dialogue with Japanese companies in Ireland, will make every possible effort during Ireland’s EU Presidency in the second half of this year and beyond to further strengthen bilateral economic relations as well as Japan-EU economic ties.
