On 21 July, a delegation led by the President & CEO of Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Co., Ltd., visiting Ireland on business, met with Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu to exchange views on the company's recent business developments and future prospects in the aircraft leasing sector. Ambassador MIYAGAWA also briefed the delegation on recent developments in Ireland and on Japan–Ireland relations (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing co., Ltd (owned by Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group and Sumitomo Corporation) and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation jointly owns SMBC Aviation Capital).
The Embassy of Japan in Ireland welcomes the continued expansion of the company's business in the increasingly important aircraft leasing sector and supports the positive contribution it makes to Ireland's economy and employment.
