MIRAI Programme (Student Exchange to Japan) Applications Now Open!

Programme Overview
“Mirai” is the Japanese word for “future”, and it stands for “Mutual understanding, Intellectual Relations, and Academic exchange Initiative”.
The programme aims to deepen participants’ understanding of Japan and its policy, to promote mutual understanding, and thus build a basis for future friendship and cooperation between Japan and the participants’ regions.
Both undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in an Irish university are invited to apply!
The successful applicant will visit Japan on a short-term youth exchange programme and engage in intellectual exchange with Japanese experts, scholars, and their fellow students.
All participants are expected to share Japan’s diplomacy and the charm of Japan proactively through social media and other media during and after the programme.
