Visit from Saitama Prefectural Wako Kokusai High School

On 4 August, students and teachers from Saitama Prefectural Wako Kokusai High School visited the Embassy while on a school trip to Ireland. Embassy staff spoke with them about the connections between Japan and Ireland, the work of the Embassy, and Irish literature. The students kindly listened throughout and also shared their experiences while in Ireland. The students also enthusiastically asked questions to the staff, making for a very fruitful exchange. Finally, Deputy Head of Mission, Mr HIROHATA Koji greeted the students, and the students sang their school’s anthem.
