On 18 August, Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu and Ms NAKATA Keiko, First Secretary at the Embassy of Japan in Ireland, visited Trinity College Dublin and exchanged views with Professor Nathan Hill, Director of the Trinity Centre for Asian Studies and Dr INOUE Keiko, Research Fellow and Japanese Studies Coordinator at Trinity College Dublin.
Ambassador MIYAGAWA referred to Japan’s participation in Horizon Europe and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ireland in 2027. He stated that Japan would like to further enhance cooperation for deepening intellectual exchanges between Trinity College and various stakeholders in Japan.
The Embassy of Japan looks forward to building upon its longstanding exchanges with Trinity College and to further developing cooperation.
