Meeting with Ambassador-designate of Ireland to Japan

On 31 July, H.E. Mr Noel White, Ambassador-designate of Ireland to Japan visited the Embassy of Japan in Dublin to meet Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to the further development of the already robust relations between Japan and Ireland.
Ambassador-designate White is a seasoned diplomat. Just prior to his latest assignment, he served as Ambassador of Ireland to the United Nations and other International Organisations in Geneva, Switzerland. Mr White was also Ambassador of Ireland to Australia where he contributed to the further development of bilateral relations between Ireland and Australia. He has also held positions relating to EU affairs both in Dublin and Brussels many times.
The Embassy of Japan in Dublin looks forward to working closely with the Embassy of Ireland in Tokyo after Ambassador-designate White assumes his role succeeding H.E. Mr Damien Cole, Ambassador of Ireland to Japan from 2022-2026.
