On 28 August, Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu met with Ms Olivia Leslie, Director General for Multilateral Affairs, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). They exchanged views on cooperation between Japan and Ireland at the United Nations and through other international organisations.

The Embassy of Japan in Ireland will continue to make every effort to ensure that Ireland and Japan, as like-minded countries who share a commitment to a rules-based international order, can work together to further strengthen multilateralism centred around the United Nations and other international organisations.
