On 3 September, representatives of the Matsue Chamber of Commerce, the Matsuyama Chamber of Commerce, and the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce visited the Embassy of Japan in Ireland. Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu spoke to the delegation about the history and prospects of Japan-Ireland relations, the role of the Embassy, and expectations for further local-level exchanges between the two countries.
This was followed by an opportunity for an exchange of views, with members of the Japan Business Society in Ireland and the Dublin Chapter of the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce also taking part.
The Embassy of Japan in Ireland warmly welcomes the visit of representatives from Matsue, Matsuyama, and the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce to Ireland. Looking ahead to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations in 2027, we look forward to working together to build on this visit and further deepen exchanges and ties between Japan and Ireland, particularly at the local and regional level.
