On 31 August, Ambassador MIYAGAWA and Ms ONOZAKI of the Embassy of Japan received Mr Martin McCoy, Senior Vice President, Tax, Mr Feargal Purcell, Head of Corporate Affairs, SMBC Aviation Capital, and Mr OKO, General Manager, Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing, Dublin Branch.
SMBC Aviation Capital, the leading aircraft leasing company in the world, updated on the recent business priorities of the company, including expected positive impact of modernising the Japan Ireland Tax Treaty of 1974 on further deepening economic relations and exchanges between Ireland and Japan.
The Embassy of Japan will continue to support Japanese companies in Ireland to further promote their business and thus enhance important bilateral relations for both countries.
