Japanese Calligraphy Workshops
On 28 and 29 September, Japanese calligraphy artist Ms MAGARI Ouka and the Embassy of Japan in Ireland visited St Andrew’s College and St Anne’s National School in Dublin to give a workshop on Japanese calligraphy!
The students at both schools were fascinated by Ms MAGARI’s demonstrations, and learnt to write their feelings in beautiful kanji.
The Embassy of Japan in Ireland will continue to deepen cultural exchanges through calligraphy toward the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations betwee Ireland and Japan.
