On 7 October, the Cyber Security Conference & Expo of the Irish EU Presidency, organised by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), was held at the Convention Centre Dublin.

The Conference was attended by various stakeholders across society, from government to academia and from business to NGOs, and was one of the highlights of the Irish EU Presidency as the Cyber Conference brought all the pillars of the Irish Presidency together, notably “security”, “competitiveness” and “values”.

Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu and Mr ISHIMOTO Akihiro of the Embassy of Japan attended the conference. The Embassy of Japan will continue to exchange views with Irish colleagues on how both Japan and Ireland will strengthen its relationship in the field of cyber security.
