On 21 January, the Diplomatic Corps were cordially invited by H.E. Ms. Catherine Connolly, President of Ireland. From the Embassy of Japan in Ireland, Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu and his wife Noriko attended.
We are deeply honoured and grateful for the opportunity to start a new year at such reception. It was also an opportunity for us to renew our resolve to further deepen the ties between Ireland and Japan, and to further strengthen our commitments and actions collectiely to adhere to rule of law in the international community through good dialogue with the Government and people of Ireland as well as the fellow Ambassadors from the rest of the world.
