On 29 January, Mr Hugo O'Donnell and Ms Nobuko Ijichi from University College Dublin kindly visited the Embassy of Japan for a discussion regarding Experience Japan , the annual cultural exchange event in Dublin.
Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu and Ms NAKATA Keiko, First Secretary at the Embassy, had a substantial discussion on possible ways and means to make this most vigorous cultural festival, which started 18 years ago, successful for the coming years.
The Embassy of Japan is grateful for the deep voluntary devotion of Mr O'Donnell and Ms Ijichi to Experience Japan for so many years. We will continue to cooperate as much as possible toward the 70th anniversary in 2027 to commemorate the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ireland.
