Japan and Ireland — Cooperation in the Field of Nature Conservation

On 22 September, Ambassador MIYAGAWA Manabu met with Mr Christopher O’Sullivan TD, Minister of State for Nature, Heritage and Biodiversity. Ambassador MIYAGAWA reiterated how deep an impression Ireland’s rich natural environment, heritage and biodiversity has made on him, and appreciated the various policies and policy discussions aimed at their conservation and restoration.
The two sides exchanged views on opportunities for further information sharing and for deepening cooperation between Japan and Ireland in the field of nature conservation.
