Japanese Anime Weekend at IFI


On March 28th and 29th, the Embassy co-hosted "Japanese Anime Weekend" with the Irish Film Institute (IFI) and the Japan Foundation at the IFI in Temple Bar, Dublin.  Over the two days, four Japanese anime films were screened, and English researcher and writer Ms. Helen McCarthy gave two talks on Japanese anime.  The entire event was well attended, reflecting the world wide popularity of Japanese anime.
